Donald A. Nolan is group vice president of Label and Packaging Materials for Avery Dennison Corporation, based in Mentor, Ohio. He was hired to his current position in March 2008. In his role, Mr. Nolan is responsible for defining and leading the execution of a comprehensive strategy to grow the market share and returns of the Label and Packaging Materials business. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Mr. Nolan served as senior vice president of Global Packaging and Automotive Coatings for Valspar Corporation. Prior to Valspar, he worked at Loctite Corporation, Ashland Chemical Company and General Electric. Mr. Nolan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in materials and metallurgical engineering from the University of Michigan; a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. |
