
Safeguarding Employee Well-BeingTo protect the safety of our employees in operations around the world, we have established a Reinforcement Behavioral-based Safety (RBS) process. RBS focuses on observable safety behaviors and encourages constructive feedback to positively impact safety performance day-to-day. As a result, we have continuously reduced our employee injury rate over the past years. In fact, our current 1.0 employee injury rate is five times less than the industry average (U.S. comparable). Promoting Fair Labor PracticesWe are committed to operating according to internationally accepted minimum standards for employment. Our Employment Standards address fair compensation, non-discrimination, work hours and freedom of association for employees of our facilities. Our Global Labor Standards apply these same requirements to our critical suppliers. We do not tolerate child or forced labor. In addition, because employment norms vary across the globe, we are currently engaged with one of our major customers and Business for Social Responsibility in a pilot project in China to implement these standards and create sustainable change in otherwise customary practices.
