Application Process

Interested in applying to our LDP or Internship Program? Follow the various steps below to maximize your application process.

 

Leadership Development Program

 

For the LDP, our primary way of obtaining applications is through on-campus events. Please look at our “Visit Us” section to see if we will be coming to your campus this fall. If we are not, then please follow our general application process.

 

Campus Recruiting Process

  • Attend a campus event that Avery Dennison is at.

  • Meet with our campus recruiters and select which positions you might be interested in pursuing.

  • Enter your contact information or resume into our applicant tracking system at the event.

  • After the event, complete the rest of your application via a link sent to your email from our recruiter.

  • Some campus events we will be holding interviews following the event. If you are selected for an interview, you will be notified via email to sign-up to register for an interview slot.

  • Within 2-3 business days, you will be notified if you have been invited to our Assessment Center.

General Recruiting Process

  • Apply for our open positions via our Careers Website or other online job boards.

  • A recruiter will notify you if you have been selected for a phone screening.

  • Following the phone screening, you will be notified if you have been invited to our Assessment Center.

Assessment Center

Our Assessment Center is both an opportunity for you, as a candidate, and for us to determine if you might be a fit within our organization. The Assessment Center is a two day event where you will meet with our Business Leaders, current LDP associates, and peers. The actual assessment is a combination of an individual interview and team activities. All travel, food, and lodging are included in the experience.

Following the Assessment Center, you will be notified if you have been extended an offer to our Leadership Development Program. In the event that you are not selected for an LDP position, you may be considered for other direct hire positions within the organization.

 

Internship Program

Our Internship Program application process is an abbreviated version of our LDP application process. To apply you either:

  • Meet with our campus recruiters and select which positions you might be interested in pursuing.

  • Enter your contact information or resume into our applicant tracking system at the event.

  • After the event, complete the rest of your application via a link sent to your email from our recruiter.

  • Some campus events we will be holding interviews following the event. If you are selected for an interview, you will be notified via email to sign-up to register for an interview slot.

  • After the interview, within 2-3 business days, you will be notified if you have been selected to move forward in the process.

  • A recruiter will notify you if you have been selected for a phone screening.

  • Following the phone screening, you will be notified if you have been extended an internship offer.
