LDP Graduates

The most satisfying aspects of the LDP are the camaraderie among associates and the way in which you are able to make an impact in your role. I’ve had a lot of great opportunities at our manufacturing plants, collaborating with different functions and attending classes from the top professors and contractors in my field. This an amazing opportunity to grow and to get an idea of what you want your career path to look like

Rachael, Raw Material Planner/Analyst

Technology Leadership Development Program at Avery Dennison offers excellent opportunities to practice materials science, technical leadership and project management skills.  The global technical community at Avery Dennison is well-regarded by industries, and has a culture of innovation that creates positive impacts for customers, end users and the environment.  Technical projects often bring direct interactions with business and functional leaders from the corporate, divisions and customers as well.

The most attractive thing about this program is the flexibility. For Finance, nothing compares to hands-on learning. There are multiple unique areas within the group, and getting a taste of each one while rotating goes a long way in helping you learn what you enjoy and where you can make the biggest difference. Avery has a very family-oriented culture in a fast-paced corporate environment that I love.

Anthony, Sr. Financial Analyst

Technical Leadership Development Program helped me to build strong relationships with different functions and individuals across the company. It is great way to start your career to use your technical background and transfer to different business needs meanwhile collaborating extensively. I found the rotations very helpful to reach out to people in various functions and locations, and also understanding how each individual business unit is working within the company. Moreover, LDP training program gives you very useful tools that you can apply and use throughout your career.

Arzu, R&D Leader

LDP Associates

In my role, I have the opportunity to interact with various functions, seeing the big picture and how decisions I make affect both the company’s operations and the customer. Avery Dennison is large enough to be a global, Fortune 500 company, but small enough where I am able to have regular face time with our leadership team. Everyone is extremely hardworking and driven, but the environment is relaxed and enjoyable.

ALEX, LDP OPERATIONS

After two months, I met with the VP of Sales, VP of Marketing, Director of Customer Engagement and the entire Sales Leadership Team, and I have had lunch with the President. Not all companies allow new employees to get that much exposure to upper management. Every day, I learn something new and meet someone new, and there are always new opportunities.

Colleen, LDP Sales

The Information Management program provides constant opportunities for personal growth and development, supportive mentorship, and a close teamwork atmosphere. Within my first week I was working on projects that had a business-wide impact while learning new technologies and participating in global meetings.

Interns

From the moment I was brought on as an intern, I was treated as if I was part of Avery Dennison for years. It's a very exciting place to work because the sense of community enables you to learn from others while also applying your skills from the classroom. The way employees speak about their time and experience with the company makes me eager to immerse myself in every opportunity I am given.

Riley, Operations Intern

Avery Dennison's summer internship in operations has taught me so much about the industry and process. There is no other experience that amounts to what I have learned this summer through my hands-on projects and the relationships I have built with my coworkers.

Olivia, Operations Intern

Avery Dennison is committed to investing in their interns. From day one, you are completing tasks that provide both tangible business and developmental value. Throughout the entire program I've been interacted with as a respected team member, including when I had the opportunity to converse with the president of the Label and Graphic Materials division during my second week.

Grant, Finance Intern

It has been clear through my two internships that Avery Dennison is dedicated at investing in their employees. Every project, meeting, or task is turned into a learning opportunity. Avery Dennison takes the time to make sure you are working on projects that challenge you and develop you professionally. Managers and mentors assign internship projects that have a direct impact on the organization, and its been such a great experience coming back for a second internship and seeing how my efforts last summer have made a lasting impact.
