Susan C. Miller is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Avery Dennison Corporation. She was promoted to her current position in January 2009. Ms. Miller joined the Company in 1991 as senior counsel and was promoted to assistant general counsel in 1998. In 2007, she was promoted to vice president and general counsel and was promoted to senior vice president and general counsel in 2008. In her role, Ms. Miller focuses on issues pertaining to the Board of Directors, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, shareholder protection, executive compensation, corporate policy review and corporate strategic planning. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Ms. Miller served as an associate at the law firm of Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles and Kirkpatrick & Lockhart in Pittsburgh. Ms. Miller received a Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences/Accounting from Duke University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. |
