Daniel R. O'Bryant is executive vice president, Finance, and chief financial officer of Avery Dennison Corporation. He was elected to his current position in April 2005.

Mr. O'Bryant joined Avery Dennison in 1990 as director of capital planning. He was appointed director of Finance, Specialty Tape Europe, in 1991; group Finance director, Roll Materials Europe, in 1992; and vice president, Finance – Europe, in 1994. He was appointed vice president, Operations Audit and Business Consulting in 1995. In 1997, Mr. O'Bryant was transferred to Fasson Roll North America, where he was appointed vice president, Business Forms Division, in 1997, and vice president and general manager, Product Identification Division, in 1999. Mr. O'Bryant was elected senior vice president and chief financial officer of Avery Dennison Corporation in January, 2001.

Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Mr. O'Bryant served in several financial, manufacturing and marketing management positions at Baker Hughes in Los Angeles, California.

Mr. O'Bryant was born in Tacoma, Washington. He graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a degree in management science and received his master's degree in Business Administration from University of Southern California.
