The health and well-being of our employees is our top priority. That’s why we have implemented a number of measures to help keep our workplaces safe, support our employees during this challenging period, and ensure we maintain our ability to serve you, our customer, now and for the long term. We continue to monitor the situation closely and follow all guidance from local authorities, as well as guidance from the World Health Organization.

Courage and teamwork are at the foundation of our values. Avery Dennison Fastener Solutions uses Industrial Elastic Staple used in face shield manufacturing to replace metal staples for increased comfort and makes PPE production faster for those racing to meet supply demands during COVID-19 period. Read more >

Avery Dennison Greenfield, IN employees donated 7,680 N95 masks and 16,000 pairs of gloves to Hancock Regional Hospital.
Avery Dennison employees at our Engineered Films Plant (EFP) in Concord, OH donated six cases of N95 respirator masks and several cases of nitrile gloves to Lake Health-TriPoint Medical Center.
With the national shortage of clinical PPE also being felt in Fort Wayne, IN, our local employees rallied to donate 2,400 N95 particulate respirators to Ortho Northeast (ONE), which supports traumatic injuries and other care at Parkview Regional Medical Center and Parkview Randallia Hospital.
The Avery Dennison Foundation created the U.S. COVID-19 Rapid Community Response Fund to support organizations providing basic needs during the pandemic, including food, shelter, education, and child care. Read more >
Our Mill Hall, Pennsylvania site is altering its production to manufacture hand sanitizer for those in their community in need. Our team was able to produce roughly 3,000 pounds just after two weeks. Read more >
Avery Dennison Medical will adapt production to donate 500,000 disposable plastic face shields to U.S. medical and healthcare facilities in need. Initial donations will be made to Ohio hospitals including the Cleveland Clinic and Lake Health Hospital System, and many other hospitals and organizations nationwide. Read more >

The Avery Dennison Kreuzlingen team stepped up to produce and deliver four tons of AVC-CID sanitizing liquid for Hôpital Kirchberg, a local Luxembourg hospital.
The Avery Dennison Turnhout, Beligum employees collected nearly 700 protective masks in a matter of hours to support their local hospital.

The Avery Dennison Early Career Program (ECP) Challenge was launched just a year ago, allowing colleagues in our Graduate Program to explore their own ideas for #innovation and improvement. This year, one team came up with the idea of a European-wide blood drive campaign, to give back to local communities and drive positive change. The first successful blood donation event was in Champ-sur-Drac, #France before COVID-19 confinement.
Our Label and Packaging team in Europe donated 15,000sqm of material to UK trade printer Baker Labels to produce three million labels, free of charge, for the ‘Salute the NHS’ campaign, which has been set up to provide a million meals to NHS staff. Read more >
The Coating and Finishing teams at our Gotha, Germany plant are showing genuine team spirit by working weekends and taking extra shifts to meet our customers' needs.
The Avery Dennison Gotha facility employees donated 2,000 euro to Gotha Tafel, a nonprofit volunteer organization that drives to reduce food waste and distribute meals to those in need.
Our Gotha, Germant employees donated urgently needed disinfectant and protective gloves to Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (German Red Cross) to support frontline workers.
The local zoo in Gotha, Germany has been financially impacted by recent closures. Our employees donated 1,000 euro to support the animals and organization's needs.
South America
The Avery Dennison Brazil team partnered with Natura Brazil and Ypê to donate more than 1.2 million units of self-adhesive materials to label hand sanitizers, produced by both brands, in preparation for donation to local communities.  
The Avery Dennison Dominican Republic site donated $1,000 for face masks.
The Avery Dennison Brazil team partnered with SmartX to finance the production of 700 face shield masks, which were then donated to local health institutions like Unicamp (Universidade Estadual de Campinas), Casa de Saúde de Campinas and Hospital Emílio Ribas and more.
Our Reflective Solutions team in Brazil partnered with the State University of São Paulo (UNESP) to donate double-sided tape that is normally used for traffic signs, for face shield production.
In partnership with Polpel, Avery Dennison Brazil, through the Circular Economy Program, donated rolls of recycled paper towels to "Santa Casa de Vinhedo" Hospital and UPA (Emergency Service Unit). By reusing the cellulose fibers from our recycled liners' residue from the production chain, we were able to turn garbage into fully sustainable paper towels and give back to a local community.
Avery Dennison joined forces with leaders in the Wine and Spirits industry in Argentina to donate the necessary paper to create the labels for the donation of alcohol disinfectant. It's estimated that a total of 60,000 units will be delivered in the following weeks.
Asia Pacific
Avery Dennison employees in India distributed PPE to government officials and local communities, and provided food for migrant laborers in need, reaching nearly 10,000 lives. Read more >
Avery Dennison China produced and prepared 150K packing stickers to prepare Asia Socks' face masks for donation.
Avery Dennison China hosted a New Year charity fair and CSR roadshow, which collected 6000+ yuan and was used to purchase protective masks for our Wuhan staff and Kunshan Migrant School.
Our China employees established a support initiative to help purchase 30k+ protective masks for employees.
Our team supported our Wuhan region during the COVID-19 by donating more than 5000 yuan materials to 18 employees.
Project Hope allowed our China employees to donate 20160 yuan to ease the financial burden and support 24 students to study in Qianhai for one year.
