Did you know that 100,000 labels generate over 100 kg of liner waste? Matrix, once stripped, is also discarded. Label waste doesn't need to go to landfill or incineration. For the same cost or less, AD Circular™ turns used liners and matrix into valuable resources.
With AD Circular, you can contribute toward creating a circular economy by returning your label waste through our network of recycling partners active in various locations across Asia. Simply sign up, have your waste picked up, and we’ll work with the recyclers to take care of the rest.
What becomes of liner and matrix waste?
Glassine paper liners are typically recycled into white paper, corrugated cardboard, and other paper goods. In contrast, film liners and matrix materials are reprocessed into plastic pellets or used as fuel in waste-to-energy facilities.
Recycling just one ton of these materials has a significant environmental impact. For glassine liners, it prevents 1.524 tons of CO₂ emissions, while recycling one ton of PET liners saves an impressive 3.089 tons of CO₂.

SSA
Our Sub-Saharan Africa region provides glassine liner recycling. Liner waste is recycled into tissue paper and insulation/fire retardant materials.
ANZ
Our Australia and New Zealand region provides glassine liner recycling. Liner waste is recycled into tissue paper.
ASEAN
Our ASEAN region provides glassine/PET liner and matrix recycling. Glassine liner waste is recycled into kraft paper for corrugated boxes, white printing and writing paper, medium paper, and energy. PET liner waste is recycled into rPET pellets and energy. Matrix waste is recycled into feed for waste-to-energy processes.
South Asia
Our South Asia region provides glassine liner and matrix recycling. Liner waste is recycled into tissue paper, corrugated board paper, and other low GSM papers. Matrix waste is recycled into energy.
