As chief legal officer for Avery Dennison, Ignacio is responsible for the legal aspects of the company’s global strategy and operations, including corporate policies and strategic planning, shareholder protection, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, intellectual property, risk management, corporate governance and compliance.
Ignacio has more than 20 years of legal experience. He joined Avery Dennison in 2006 and has served as legal counsel across corporate, RBIS, LGM and IHM. For 18 months during 2016 and 2017 he also served as Avery Dennison’s General Manager, Commercial Latin America for the RBIS business. He has held positions in the United States, Europe and Latin America during his tenure.
Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Ignacio served as an associate at the law firm Latham & Watkins LLP, representing U.S. and European multinational enterprises and investors.
Ignacio is licensed to practice law in Argentina and in the State of New York. He holds a Masters of Laws in Comparative and International Law from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and a Law degree from Universidad Católica de Argentina, School of Law in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
