What's the best career decision you've ever made?
The best career decision I’ve ever made was saying yes to an internship at Avery Dennison. At the time, I had two other offers on the table, but choosing Avery Dennison turned out to be the most pivotal choice I’ve made.
That decision was largely influenced by the talent acquisition team, who encouraged me to interview with the company, and with Patrick, who would later become a key partner. Looking back, accepting that opportunity set the foundation for my professional growth and personal development. It’s a decision that has shaped my entire career, and I’m incredibly grateful for it.
As you think about the next steps in your career, what are the most important actions you plan to take?
That’s a great question and a bit of a tricky one. As I consider the next steps in my career, the most important action I can take is to continue learning as much as possible. I truly believe that if I stay committed to what I’m doing, growth and progression will come naturally.
I plan to continue asking questions, no matter how simple they might seem, because understanding something fully is always better than pretending to know. In my experience, people are generally open to helping, and that willingness to ask has served me well.
Another key focus is consistently delivering strong results and approaching every task with passion. I try to make each project meaningful, either by enjoying the process or using it as an opportunity to learn something new. That mindset has helped keep me motivated and continue to grow.
Networking is also vital. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and customers helps broaden my perspective and opens new doors. And finally, I make a point to consistently communicate my enthusiasm for the business and the work I do.
For the past seven years, this combination of learning, curiosity, passion and connection has shaped my growth and I believe continuing down this path will lead to even more progress.
What do you enjoy most about the work you do?
I absolutely love being around fancy cars and engaging directly with our target audience at car wrapping shops. Visiting automotive events where we showcase our materials is always a highlight. Honestly, I enjoy almost every aspect of my work, including creating commercials for Avery Dennison’s Supreme Wrapping Film when introducing new colors.
From influencer marketing to full 360-degree campaigns, including commercials, photography, brochures, and social media, I find the entire creative process exciting. Whether it’s shooting a commercial in a Spanish desert or under the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam, I love collaborating with directors, copywriters, and other creatives while constantly learning.
The most rewarding part is seeing our work come to life, like spotting a wrapped car in Amsterdam or Sofia that I helped promote, or knowing that thousands of people at major trade shows like SEMA have seen and responded to our content. It’s a proud, almost surreal feeling to realize our work has real, public impact.
In short, I genuinely enjoy every aspect of my job and always find ways to keep it interesting.
