What is the program?

Ready to take your career into your own hands, put those hours of dedication and passion to achieve your education goals to work and  join a leadership development program that offers a global perspective and hands- on experience in various functions to understand the business and quickly grow your career?  RBIS’ Global Organizational Leadership Development (GOLD) program is a 2- year rotational, multi-functional, leadership development program that accelerates careers and continuously develops talent (You).

The GOLD program offers a unique opportunity to learn and train in two cross- functional business rotations that are chosen based on your background and skills, your career passion and the needs of the business. As a part of a global company, GOLD Associates have the opportunity to work in multiple locations throughout North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Europe.

Learning and Development Framework

Within two 12- month rotations, RBIS GOLD Associates will complete:

  • Rotations in different functions and locations

  • Lean Immersion (ELS) training and onboarding during your first year as a GOLD. A three- week program of intensive leadership development along with Lean Sigma & finance training and hands- on experience at one of our manufacturing sites

  • Continued training and learning opportunities in your second GOLD rotation at Action Learning, a highly interactive week-long training focused on communication, advanced leadership development, and rapid problem solving

  • Participate, co-facilitate and leadership of Kaizen events

RBIS GOLD program graduates are ready to take on business critical roles around the globe, including Plant Manager, Project Manager, and Commercial Finance Manager.

What are we looking for?

  • Highly motivated, creative thinker able to work effectively in a fast-paced, change-driven environment

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, business management, finance, accounting, or related discipline

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (US only)

  • Ability to relocate every 12 months into different functions and locations

Our Application Process

There are two options to apply for the Avery Dennison Leadership Development Program

OPTION 1: ON-CAMPUS
  1. Check with your career center to see if/when Avery Dennison will be visiting your campus
  2. Visit us during a career fair, information session, or other on-campus event
  3. Participate in an on campus or phone interview
  4. Attend our assessment center in October
  5. Decisions will be made immediately following our assessment center
