What’s the best career decision you’ve ever made?
The best decision of my career was to change jobs from a family business to a large group like Avery Dennison. This change, though not a primary aim from the start, unfolded over the years, revealing a path of slow but sure growth that has led me to my current role as production manager, and illustrating the power of long-term development. While I'm proud of how far I've come, I'm also excited to embrace new challenges and further develop my skills. And I'm eager to see where this journey of growth takes me next.
As you think about the next steps in your career, what are the most important actions you plan to take?
One of the essential things is to continue to grow, invest, and develop my network.
I am also eager to develop longer-term strategic thinking and get a global vision less focused on a single site but more on a divisional vision.
The most important thing is to remain attractive in the industry, both at the European and global levels.
What do you enjoy most about the work you do?
For the D2D, I emphasize the importance of diversity and autonomy. My role gives me the opportunity to interact with various departments, including quality, finance, marketing, sales, production, technical, and process services. With over 20 years of experience at Avery Dennison, I have developed the ability to work independently when necessary while also benefiting from the support of a strong, collaborative team.
This balance of independence and teamwork is key to my role. It allows me to address immediate challenges and gives me the space to think long-term. This strategic perspective enables me to identify and implement the changes needed to keep us competitive over the long term.
Combining all those factors and people interactions allows me to come to work every day with a big smile.
