Avery Dennison® Graphics Solutions North America helped make wishes come true all the way across the country – and around the world! This year (2025), Avery Dennison partnered with Make-A-Wish® Nevada to host two international Make-A-Wish teens at the SEMA convention in Las Vegas.

 

Recognized around the world as THE SHOW for folks crazy about cars, SEMA is a closed convention – those outside of the industry cannot usually gain entry. But – at a request from Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions – SEMA allowed the Make-A-Wish teens a sneak peek.

 

 

Embodying the theme of "Granting Wishes. Driving Impact.", the Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions team set out to make a powerful difference at the 2025 SEMA tradeshow by bringing hope and joy to the forefront. The division underwrote costs for the young super-car enthusiasts to attend an eye-popping showcase of the world’s most exciting automotive aftermarket innovations. Avery Dennison headlined the show with state-of-the-art restyling and protective films, showcased on the latest ultra-high-end vehicles, including a Lamborghini Huracán and a McLaren GTS.

Wish teen Jakob Altenberger, 20, Austria, who is living with cancer, dreamed of attending SEMA from a young age. Cameron Enge, 17, Wish teen from Canada, who is living with heart disease, craved exploring the vehicles and automotive technology he’s only seen online.

On Wednesday, November 5, Avery Dennison hosted a special Make-A-Wish-Day. In collaboration with the Nevada chapter of the organization, Jakob and Cameron fulfilled their dreams of working with expert installers and helped to transform a Lamborghini Huracán with a custom Make-A-Wish Nevada-designed wrap.

The Make-A-Wish teens also received passes to all four days of the SEMA show, access to a special the VIP lounge, swag bags with branded apparel and promotional items, VIP tickets to the SEMA Fest Friday rock concert, VIP transportation to the SEMA show, and invitations to special SEMA events. 


The Ultimate Surprise: The Hoonigan Burnyard

 

An extra surprise for Jakob and Cameron was provided by Wrap Legends, The Hoonigans, and 360 Wraps, Corona, California

 

It all began when owner and expert installer, William Brice at Wrap Legends, who had a relationship with the Hoonigan Group, helped connect members of Avery Dennison to Hoonigan – after the Avery Dennison Make-A-Wish team learned that both Jakob and Cameron were big fans of the brand. Then, Avery Dennison advocate and owner of 360 Wraps in Corona, California, Rocky Rupe, added an additional network connection to the Hoonigan marketing/media team through a family connection, and together, they helped to organize a VIP experience at the Hoonigan Burnyard event during SEMA.

Thanks to Hoonigan and their marketing team, Avery Dennison escorted Jakob, Cameron and their guests to the VIP entrance of the Hoonigan Burnyard event. As part of the VIP experience, Jakob and Cameron participated in a Hoonigan Group meet-and-greet which also included a photo shoot, as well as both teens being announced at the beginning of the show before the first ride. Jakob and Cameron sat in the back of the first burnout ride, watched the rest of the show in the VIP area, and had another meet-and-greet when the show was over, which included signed posters and a ton of free merchandise from the Hoonigan team.

Avery Dennison + Make-A-Wish Nevada + Hoonigan at SEMA delivered an extra-special way to give back that connected great automotive brands with two teen enthusiasts for an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
