A key to our corporate values is a steadfast commitment to contributing time and resources in the communities where we live and work. Around the world, Avery Dennison has a strong corporate social responsibility (CSR) ethos that is demonstrated through a long history of financial support and employee volunteerism. And our spirit of giving remains as strong as ever during this time of need brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This fall, employees from the Label and Graphic Materials (LGM) and Industrial and Healthcare (IHM) divisions across North America donated generously to our annual United Way campaign, proudly raising over $117,000 through their online pledging. From our operations sites to those working virtually, everyone had the chance to keep the ‘fun’ in this year’s fundraising, collecting thousands of dollars through raffles and contests and site-based activities.
